my goodness

Madness at Muizenberg last Sunday resulted in South Africa provisionally breaking the world record for "the most people on a wave" (anything to get in that book!). Anyway, over 400 surfers hopped in the water, and to my utter surprise, considering my aversion to crowds, I hopped in there with them, and was one of the 103 to ride a wave for more than 5 seconds without falling over, bumping into each other or taking each other out. And to my even utterer surprise, I actually enjoyed it! Definitely won't make a habit of it though, I'll stick to those nice quiet early mornings - or those days when everyone else is at work!

This is more how I prefer my waves - uncluttered! Taken down at Cape Point a few years ago.

of the record breaking surf (my siblings told me I was 6th from the end on the left - didn't notice too much as I was trying not to take out or be taken out by a huge paddle boarder!)

I love feedback! Energy flows both ways, so let me know what you think, whether it's positive or constructively critical, both are valuable!
