Interesting how things so often just work out. I often previsualise the images I take - I know the mood I want to create, and the scenery I need, but it often takes months-or years - to find myself in the right place with the right light. This time it was a couple of days. I was going to go for a walk on the mountain in the cloud, but I decided that it was too mif in the mist to suit the photographic mood I was in, but I suspected the light would be pretty awesome under the cloud on the other side of the mountain, and I wasn't dissapointed. I was doing my usual thing of framing my shots to exclude people, when these two young girls walked through my viewfinder. Not quite what I had in mind. And then shortly behind them this woman, in her long skirt, came walking across the far side of the water with her dog... perfect! ![]() |
