Moonlit solstice informal photography workshop

Here in the Southern hemisphere the winter solstice is almost upon us, and this year it's coinciding with a supermoon, where the moon will be the closest and largest full moon of the year, as well as the moon’s closest encounter with Earth until August next year.
To celebrate this, I've decided to offer a free informal moon photography workshop/sharing of information/get together on Saturday 22nd of June, from 3:30pm to about 7pm, at Silvermine. This will be the night before the solstice and full moon - two reasons for this: one is that the moon rises about 45 minutes before sunset on the day before full moon so there is more light and more chance of interesting photos. The second reason is that Saturday is easier than Sunday... everything works out perfectly! We'll keep an eye on the weather, but as you know by now, rain seldom stops me!
You will need to have a basic level of fitness, an ability to walk on a mountain path, good walking shoes and a headtorch. Oh, and a camera would be useful! If you have a tripod, bring it, otherwise small bean bags work in a pinch. (Easy to make one quickly and cheaply by filling a ziploc or fabric bag with beans.) I also suggest bringing a thermos of something hot, and dress warmly! We can retire to the Toad in the Road to share previews and tips, further bevarages and supper afterwards.
Please email me if you are interested in joining in the fun and I'll send you details of where to meet, etc.
(For those of you not in the Cape next weekend, I'll make a best-of selection of the evening's photos available, along with some of the tips.)
Clouds rush past the moon as a thunderstorm recedes seawards...

I love feedback! Energy flows both ways, so let me know what you think, whether it's positive or constructively critical, both are valuable!
