I wanted to share this pic I just had to take of my teeny tiny little fern that normally lives in my bathroom. This is the second time it's nearly died, the first time being very much a result of me neglecting to water the poor thing! After I fed it with Margaret Robert's Organic Supercharger it burst into life with a vengeance and flourished for months!
But this time I thought it was a complete goner - the leaves wilted in a matter of days without apparent cause. I fed it supercharger with no results. I took it outside in case it wanted more sunshine or perhaps some rain, but it shrivelled still further. I then chopped off most of the dead fronds and leaves and placed it on a windowsill with a dabble of morning sun... and in a few days it sprouted into life again.
I'm just always amazed at the capacity of living things to hold so tenaciously onto life... and onto the good things in life. For me, it was a bit of a parallel of my life: I am chopping off the last finished bits of a big part of my life, and at the same time, from those same roots, eagerly and excitedly springing into a new life, nourished by the compost formed from the all the old dead fronds.

*Thank* you for this...
