"The sky is crying the streets are full of tears, Rain come down wash away my fears" *

Some words are beautiful in their shape, some in their meaning, and some in both. My friend Caro sent me a word this week that I feel is both:
Pluviophile (noun): a lover of rain; someone who finds joy and peace of mind on rainy days.*
Just a little reminder that there is balance in everything, so even in the most devastating storm...
...there is always beauty to be found.

*Subject line quoted from Hand in Hand by Dire Straits (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4SHr_EJGI4)

**Etymology: in biology pluviophily, meaning "thriving in conditions of abundant rainfall."
from French pluvial (12c.), "pertaining to rain"; from Latin pluvialis, "a reference to rain, rainy, rain-bringing"; from pluvia, "rain (water)"; from pluvius, "rainy"; and from plovere, "to rain".

I love feedback! Energy flows both ways, so let me know what you think, whether it's positive or constructively critical, both are valuable!
