I was gifted yesterday morning when I woke with a calm breeze, clear sky and the last full moon of 2013 low against a pretty pink sky... and enough time to appreciate the sunrise and moonset from the beach before the wind picked up.

Life, as the oldies always told me, is indeed short, and although I've been realising that this getting old thing happens to all of us, I've also come to realise that all the oldies (regardless of age) are actually just youngsters in well used bodies. So, here's to another decade of growing younger and wiser with age, for all of us!
May you all have a superb solstice this Saturday!
(Oh, and just for fun, I went and checked out what my birthday word is, a word that was born the same year I was, and it turns out to be:recyclist, n.I totally love it, it's certainly a word for me!
Meaning: an advocate of the recycling of waste products; a recycler.
You can find your own birthday word by Oxford Dictionaries at OED birthday word generator.)

so you and I are close to the same age (I am 41).....and also looking out at this new decade.......admittedly there is a little trepidation, as there are unknowns and faith falls......but, hoping with you, that "things will work out"........Life does have a way of "working out"....
ReplyDeletePraying it "works out" beautifully for you, Andi,
Merry Christmas,
happy Solstice,
