Winter. Love it!

Aaah! After finally taking two weeks off work completely, for the first time in years, I'm feeling wonderfully relaxed, re-energsed and re-inspired! (I do apologise for not sending a pic last week, I was enjoying not switching my computer on at all and decided you'd all survive till this week) ;-)

And so the winter storms really begin! I respond, deep down, to this type of weather with a kind of joyfullness - there is just so much energy and life in stormy weather that is perceived as gloominess (I'd say mistaken for gloom, but that's just my perception! Admittedly, my perception is affected by that fact tat I have warm clothes and a cozy home to return to after venturing out into it; my mind always has a few thoughts on those who don't have an option!)

This cloud came slinking over the mountains after sunset, reminding me of the luck dragon from the Neverending Story. The Aghulas II, doing some training in the bay, looks quite small facing the dragon's head...
