The illuminated village

Does time speed up towards the end of the year? I had so much time to get things done this week, but now it's Thursday already! I've been busy with the calendar and they will be ready soon! Most mornings I'm on the beach for a sunrise run and leave the Brikon at home since we're having these lovely clear days that don't provide much in the way of photographic variety. In fact, I've only been taking my Brikon out for clients' photo sessions lately - and my nephew's birthday! But I took my camera along a few weeks ago, on a day similar to this morning, with cloud cover generously providing some delicious light. Watching for a little while I guessed that the gap in the clouds would allow a patch of sunlight to illuminate just the village, and, to my delight, it sending across a bonus beam to paint the cloud pink as well!
