At times I am really grateful for the pic of the week! Yesterday evening, after supper I glanced out the window at the pretty light on the incoming storm clouds; I knew it would be pretty on the beach, and quite enlivening with the wind but, feeling rather full and lethargic, I just plonked down on the couch instead. (I had left eating too long, had been too hungry, eaten too fast and way too much!) Then I realised that the next day would be Friday and I hadn't taken a single pic all week, and at the same time recalled one of the aims of the pic of the week, which was to get me out and taking photos for me - the type that fills me with delight and enthusiasm. I knew that my laziness would dissipate with a gentle stroll, so, ignoring my laziness' grummbles, I grabbed my Camsung (there are limits to overcoming laziness, and the thought of the extra work processing photos taken with my Brikon prompted me to just take my phone camera) and took my stomach for walkies...
...and of course I was so glad I did! Dolphins swam in a sea that reflected a rich golden light from a cloud above, which in turn reflected the sunlight that had dissapeared over the horizon. I paddled about in the light, very tempted to totally immerse myself in it. (Alas, a lack of swimming attire, a few too many spectators and my voluntary conformity to social 'norms' prevented me.)

I love feedback! Energy flows both ways, so let me know what you think, whether it's positive or constructively critical, both are valuable!
