Laurelindórenan

 I've been needing some fantastical breathspace, so I painted a place I've wanted to visit since I first read about it in my tweens: the wood at Laurelindórenan. (Tolkien's Quenya Elvish for "Valley of Singing Gold", which I think is as beautiful as the imagery his descriptions conjured in my mind.)

Most know it as Lothlórien, the Golden Wood — home of Galadriel and Celeborn and, in earlier days, their daughter Celebrian. (I can't quite make out the features, but I think I painted mother and daughter here.) I'm going to go there for a picnic, so please come and join me...
