When the light shines through

It feels like such long pauses between your breathspace pics, and also no time at all! Life is feeling  both slowed down and stuffed full...

It's been an extremely rainbowy winter here, and a reasonable while since I shared one with you,; this one was particularly dramatic with its lighting, so here you are:

House Squarepants...

Our home's waterproofing, it turns out, isn't anymore. Each winter since I moved here, I thought successive problems had been fixed, but this extremely wet winter has finally revealed the true source of the mold I've been fighting the long defeat against ever since: the walls are sodden and mold is hiding inside them. (Which in turn reveals a likely source of some of the debilitating health issues both my mom and I have increasingly been inflicted with.)

We're looking for short term accommodation to rent in the area while we have major remedial work done, so if you know of anything nice, I'd love to hear from you. Mom will be visiting my sister for a month, so it could quite likely just be me needing a place nearby, to keep an eye on things.(I've looked at available property and Airbnb rentals, but just in case there's something unadvertised or that I missed.)
