Solstice

And so the summer solstice approaches!

I count my years from solstice to solstice, and on this last day of my year I was gifted this glorious morning. I went down to the beach early and enjoyed a good long bathe in these clear sparkling waters, rinsing off the old year. I see the Cape Doctor has been asked to blow the dregs away tomorrow and I'll welcome whatever freshness comes my way for the coming spin about our star.
