Muizenberg Festival

While the scenery here is awesome, the creative people and sense of community is another reason why I love living in Muizenberg.

Muizies has been rocking all week with its community-created festival, which is continuing until the end of the weekend, featuring with music, talks, beach games, art exhibitions, (including the Open Studio Tour, where 24 of  the village's colourful and creative residents have opened their homes and studios, exhibiting ceramics, fine art, collage, mosaic, sculpture, jewelry, illustration, photography and more), as well as a group exhibition at the Blue Bird Garage where you'll be able to see some of my work (big!).

"The Muiznenberg Festival is a celebration of Muizenberg’s commitment to creative, collaborative, community-led transformation, with performances and exhibitions that celebrate and share the creative wealth of Muizenberg and showcasing solutions to socio-economic and environmental challenges through dynamic design."
