I've always had an affinity for water: on the ground or in the air, fresh or salt.
Such preciousness. Such perniciousness. Are we heading for a scarcity
of the former and a too-muchness of the latter, or will we manage to
manage our resources to ensure a just-right balance of both?
I watched the past few weather fronts come and go with nothing more than a
tantalising tease of rain - a blessing and a concern. The light
precipitation allowing the denuded mountain slopes more time to
stabalise, the winds washing the ocean swell into the bay in fine
surfing waves, farmers, gardeners, and other pluviophiles watching
with a mixture of anticipation, then slight disappointment at the dearth
of rain reaching the ground... until this week with its wild winds. What will the rest of this winter hold?
This time of year is utter magic for outdoor portrait photography, and
just in case you're wondering, I don't only create self portraits like
this - if you're curious about my whimsical portrait photo sessions,
please drop me a line, I'd love to hear from you and discuss some ideas
for creating your own magical flights of fancy!

I love feedback! Energy flows both ways, so let me know what you think, whether it's positive or constructively critical, both are valuable!
